In a recent article, Law Technology News magazine details Greene Espel’s continuing green workplace initiatives. The article features the firm’s partnership with Minneapolis eco-expert and author Kim Carlson to implement its pledge to reduce paper use by 80 percent, as well as its many other efforts to “go green.” As the article points out, “the firm's metrics are already impressive. Greene Espel has cut its library by 80% and its need for physical storage space is shrinking as the firm converts to electronic repositories.” All of this means better overall efficiency and lower client costs. “Of course, efficiency can mean cuts in billable hours, but pays off in the long run with much happier clients who receive better, faster, and cheaper legal services.”
