Greene Espel Attorneys Participate in IADC 2018 Mid-year Meeting

When: February 14, 2018

Where: The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) mid-year meeting

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) mid-year meeting featured a panel discussion on “Legal Counsel in the Investigative Crosshairs.” Greene Espel attorneys Peggy Kubicz Hall (moderator) and David Wallace-Jackson (panelist) joined a panel of in-house and outside counsel to provide practical examples addressing the rules of professional responsibility that apply to attorneys when their legal advice may be used to further a crime or other attorney conduct that might expose the lawyer to criminal liability here and abroad.

Peggy focuses her practice on internal investigations and counseling—guiding clients through sensitive financial fraud, competition law and international law matters including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, anticorruption, due diligence, internal investigations, and antitrust and competition law issues.

David investigates international business conduct issues as they arise under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act.
