Ginny McCalmont helps public and private-sector clients craft effective strategies that resolve disputes.

To do so, she draws on her extensive experience with the court system through clerkships with federal trial and appellate judges; her strong writing skills, honed as an editor of The Yale Law Journal; and her interpersonal skills, developed during her service as an AmeriCorps volunteer with Iowa Legal Aid.

Prior to joining Greene Espel, Ginny received her J.D. from Yale Law School, where, in addition to editing The Yale Law Journal, she served as a member of the Yale Law Women executive board and a teaching assistant for Contracts and Torts courses. While in law school Ginny also gained complex-litigation experience through internships with the Veterans Legal Services Clinic and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Tax Division (Civil Trial Section). She received her B.A. with highest distinction and honors from the University of Iowa.
