Matt Forsgren represents clients in civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings and investigations across the country. An accomplished trial attorney with extensive first-chair, jury trial experience, Matt also represents clients in commercial, securities, and labor arbitrations.
Corporate clients turn to Matt to conduct internal investigations in various complex matters. Matt’s knowledge and experience in internal investigations has resulted in him serving as an adjunct professor in one of the only law-school courses in the country concerning best practices in internal investigations.
Matt also is adept at guiding clients through the investigatory process. He represents clients in inquiries, investigations, and proceedings involving federal and state agencies, including the Department of Justice, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor, Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Department of Commerce, as well as others.
Matt’s litigation practice involves representing clients in securities litigation, shareholder derivative actions, and closely-held corporate disputes, as well as advising clients facing securities-related enforcement investigations. He also represents employers in disputes involving theft and misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information, as well as the matters involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.
