From the founding of our firm, we have described ourselves as “attorneys and counselors.” We have done so to emphasize the opportunities to resolve conflicts in settings other than courtrooms—through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration.
We want our clients to be fully aware of “alternative dispute resolution” options. Often, these procedures can end conflict more quickly and less expensively than conventional litigation.
We welcome opportunities to participate in alternative dispute resolution events. Many of us have served as arbitrators, mediators, and special masters, so we understand the dynamics of alternative dispute resolution from the decision-maker’s perspective.
