Greene Espel attorneys Caitlinrose Fisher and Virginia McCalmont represent client Aida Al-Kadi, an American citizen and practicing Muslim, in a suit filed against Ramsey County.  The lawsuit seeks relief for Ms. Al-Kadi, who was forced to remove her hijab in front of males and for a photograph in violation of her religious beliefs.  The county moved to dismiss Ms. Al-Kadi’s claims on summary judgment, but a federal judge has ruled in large part that the case may progress to trial.

Additional coverage on the case can be found on the Star Tribune or MPR.
