Increasing numbers of foreign jurisdictions are focusing their attention and resources on corruption. These efforts include new anti-corruption legislation, stronger enforcement of existing laws, and increasing extraterritorial regulation. Karl Procaccini and Kevin Zhao will speak at the 2017 International Business Law Institute and provide updates on these developments in multiple jurisdictions, including Latin America, China, and Europe.

Karl routinely counsels clients on effective and efficient compliance programs to prevent costly investigations and remediation. He has presented numerous CLEs and has served as an adjunct professor in the areas of business regulation, compliance, investigations, and anti-corruption law. Kevin also regularly advises clients on regulatory-compliance matters, including trade compliance and export controls. Both Karl and Kevin are members of the firm’s Business Litigation, Compliance and Anti-Corruption, and International practice groups.
