On June 19, 2014, Peggy Kubicz Hall completed her tenure as the Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Antitrust Section by moderating a panel on international internal investigations. The CLE was entitled “Pack Your Bags and Find Local Competition Law Counsel: Internal Investigations with an International Twist,” and it featured a panel of in-house attorneys from Medtronic, Cargill and Covidien. The panelists shared tips on how to conduct internal antitrust investigations outside the U.S., including managing a dawn raid half a world away, identifying and working with qualified local counsel, dealing with international data privacy laws, and managing document reviews in multiple languages. Peggy is a member of the MSBA Corporate Counsel Section Steering Committee, which co-sponsored the event.
