Conscious Inclusion: How Lawyers Can Eliminate Bias to Achieve Better Outcomes

In this one-hour training, members of Greene Espel’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practice Group will cover the fundamentals of diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as present the compelling business case for investing in diversity, equity and inclusion. It’s not enough to aim for increased diversity. Organizations only fully realize the benefits of diverse teams when they eliminate bias and forge a culture of inclusion. These factors are shown to increase engagement. And higher engagement has an effect on profitability, team morale, and retention. People working in inclusive workplaces also tend to have better physical and mental health. This engaging and energizing presentation discusses how bias is affecting us at work. And this session highlights the latest research on HOW to limit the effect of bias and ensure that your office is inclusive.
