Children find it especially difficult to make sense of the COVID-19 pandemic. They have concerns and anxiety about health, missing friends and family, remote schooling, and the future.  Greene Espel is proud to host Dr. Dan Shapiro, a nationally-renowned developmental-behavioral pediatrician, for a discussion about how to help our children with these issues, stay optimistic, and learn problem-solving strategies.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Dan Shapiro M.D., is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician in Rockville, Maryland, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Dan is the creator and director of http://www.parentchildjourney.com/, a behavior management group training program for parents of children with developmental differences and challenging temperaments. He has authored two books and numerous articles on child development and behavior, including:
