Greene Espel attorney Kate Swenson will present on Minnesota State Court Practice Essentials as part of Minnesota CLE's Civil Litigation A to Z: Getting Started series.

The program will provide critical information about what to expect when proving or defending a Minnesota state court case as well as strategies and tips for successfully navigating state court practice. Attendees will leave with insights on how a typical case proceeds, pleading standards, application of rules, and more. 

Kate Swenson guides clients in the public and private sectors through all stages of dispute resolution, including trial and the appellate process. Kate has successfully argued before the Eighth Circuit, the Minnesota Court of Appeals, federal and state district courts, and administrative bodies. She has also tried cases and briefed appeals in federal and state courts. Before joining Greene Espel, Kate honed her problem-solving skills as legal counsel to the Minnesota Special Redistricting Panel.
