Greene Espel attorneys Sybil Dunlop and Jeya Paul will present during a Minnesota CLE hosted seminar on A Checklist Approach to Successful Motion Practice. The sessions will provide details and checklists on rules, strategic considerations, and deadlines that accompany motion practice. Sybil’s session (from 9:00-9:45am) will cover tips for Twiqbal motions while Jeya’s session (featuring Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Cowan Wright from 11:00-11:30am) will offer practical tips from a Magistrate Judge's perspective.

Sybil is a passionate and uncommonly persuasive advocate with substantial first-chair trial and arbitration experience, as well as experience before the PTAB. She represents Fortune 100 companies as they navigate disputes with contractors, clients, and business partners, including post-transaction disputes involving net working capital or post-closing adjustments. In 2020, Chambers USA listed Sybil as a “notable practitioner,” who attracted “significant praise for her litigation expertise from a range of market sources.” “She knows the rules and law to a tee, which allows her to focus on strategy,” said one client. She has also designed and teaches award-winning Diversity & Inclusion programming around the country.

Jeya Paul is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on intellectual property and other complex commercial disputes. She has experience with all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations to trial and post-trial proceedings. Jeya has represented clients in patent litigation matters in district courts across the country and at the Federal Circuit. She also has experience with inter partes reviews at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
