Greene Espel PLLP member Holley Horrell interviewed the Hon. Joan N. Ericksen during a fireside chat at the monthly luncheon of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Holley, who clerked for Judge Ericksen from 2015-2017, and former Judge Ericksen clerk Elsa Bullard of Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP spoke with Judge Ericksen about her early career trajectory, her 25 years on the bench—from Minnesota juvenile court, to the Minnesota Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, to the federal District of Minnesota bench—and about her transition to Senior Judge as of October 2019. The luncheon concluded with a short ceremony to present Judge Ericksen with a commemorative chair in recognition of her service to the judiciary and the Bar.
