Holley Horrell Appointed to State Board of Civil Legal Aid

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan appointed Holley Horrell to serve on the State Board of Civil Legal Aid. The State Board of Civil Legal Aid works to ensure access to high-quality civil legal services in every Minnesota county by administering the statewide Civil Legal Services (CLS) network. CLS delivers justice to vulnerable Minnesotans and increases efficiency in the civil legal system. CLS focuses on resolving civil legal matters that directly affect the basic human needs for economic security, personal safety, shelter, and household sustenance.

Holley represents business clients—from start-up to Fortune 100 companies—in disputes ranging from breach-of-contract claims, to complex coordinated antitrust litigation, to trust instruction proceedings. She also regularly represents clients in copyright and trademark infringement lawsuits in federal court and has appeared before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Holley maintains an active pro bono practice, providing legal services to those who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
