Powerhouse litigator Jeanette Bazis has been named to Minnesota Lawyer's "POWER 30" list for Business Litigation in 2024, marking her continued recognition among the state's most influential attorneys. The “POWER 30” list—curated through extensive interviews with legal luminaries and analysis of landmark cases—recognizes attorneys whose presence on a case “signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.”

With over three decades of commanding courtroom experience, Jeanette has established herself as a force in business, intellectual property, and employment litigation. Her approach combines incisive legal strategy with a deep understanding of client objectives, consistently delivering victories in high-stakes disputes. Her reputation for tactical excellence has made her the go-to counsel for complex litigation and sensitive internal investigations.

Jeanette's profound impact on Minnesota's legal landscape extends far beyond individual cases. Her intimate knowledge of state and federal courts stems from decades of close collaboration with the judiciary. A longtime Federal Bar Association leader, Jeanette spearheaded crucial initiatives to modernize Local Rules and served on the Minnesota Supreme Court Civil Justice Reform Task Force, helping architect the future of civil procedure in the state.

Beyond her courtroom achievements, Jeanette is a transformative figure in advancing gender equity in the legal profession. Her visionary leadership includes co-founding the University of Minnesota Law School AluMNae Network and serving as President of the Infinity Project, where she championed increased gender diversity in the Eighth Circuit judiciary. This pioneering work earned her a second Attorney of the Year award, cementing her legacy as both a legal powerhouse and a catalyst for change in the profession.
