A recent decision by the Minnesota Court of Appeals in Grady v. Green Acres, Inc. unanimously affirmed a district court decision dismissing a lawsuit filed against Greene Espel client Green Acres, Inc. The plaintiff sued Green Acres after he was injured while snow tubing at Green Acres’ snow tubing hill.  In a case of first impression, the Court held that adults assume the risk of injury when snow tubing because the activity is “inherently dangerous.” Coverage of the case can be found in MPR’s News Cut blog and the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal

Greene Espel attorneys Jenny Gassman-Pines and Jeanette Bazis represented Green Acres.
