Greene Espel welcomes Jenny Gassman-Pines, our newest attorney as of March 1, 2010.
Jenny grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and went to college at Wesleyan University, where she majored in English and Women’s Studies. She graduated with honors in 2003 and was awarded the Camp Prize for excellence in English Literature and the Baldwin Fellowship, given annually to the member of the senior class who shows the most promise of becoming an outstanding lawyer and public-spirited citizen. Jenny went on to law school at the University of Minnesota, graduating magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, in 2006.
After law school, Jenny spent a year clerking for Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Russell Anderson and then worked at a large Minneapolis firm for two years. Jenny is the 2009 recipient of the Arthur T. Pfefer Memorial Award from the Twin Cities Cardozo Society. This award is given annually to a Jewish law student or young lawyer in the first five years of practice who exemplifies current and future potential, outstanding leadership, and commitment to the Jewish and general community.
Jenny’s commitment to public service and to excellence in the practice of law fits perfectly with Greene Espel’s values, and we are delighted to welcome her to the firm. To learn more about Jenny's background, please visit her bio.
