Minnesota Lawyer selected attorney Jenny Gassman-Pines as a 2024 "Top Women in the Law" honoree. Minnesota Lawyer’s Top Women in Law recognition celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in Minnesota’s legal community.

Jenny Gassman-Pines is an exceptional trial lawyer, talented law firm leader, and passionate community advocate. Clients trust Jenny to lead their trial teams and arbitrate multimillion-dollar disputes. Jenny has led Greene Espel’s clients to success in numerous venues, most recently leading a trial team to a full defense verdict after a two-week jury trial in Minnesota state court. Clients commend Jenny’s ability to connect with clients and witnesses, particularly in matters involving sensitive issues or difficult personalities. And they rely on her expertise to develop winning case strategies and convince judges and juries to side with her clients.

As one of the founding members of Greene Espel’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice, Jenny established herself as a DEI thought-leader and trusted employment practitioner. Over the past year, Jenny lectured and advised clients on best practices in hiring and retention to recruit and retain diverse employees in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s educational affirmative action decision and increased scrutiny of DEI programs more generally.  Jenny also serves on several boards, including the Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota Action Fund, Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, and the Twin Cities Cardozo Society, and she has a robust pro bono practice.
