Best Lawyers compiles its annual recognition by a comprehensive peer review survey which is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.

Only a small percentage of attorneys in each state are named each year to these annual lists—no more than 5 percent to the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5 percent to the Rising Stars list.

Greene Espel was honored to represent Newsert, and we are proud of this result.

Judge Michael J. Davis for the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota recently issued an order granting a complete dismissal with prejudice of all claims asserted against our client, Deloitte & Touche LLP, in a putative class action lawsuit, Kamal v. Baker Tilly US, LLP.

The 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America recognizes 11 Greene Espel attorneys, including “Lawyer of Year” designation to Larry Shapiro.

A customer sued Honeywell International Inc. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for almost $22 million claiming that Honeywell was obligated to create video surveillance hardware and software customized for the customer and its end-users.

Super Lawyers has released its 2019 list of Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars, and 18 of Greene Espel's 31 lawyers were selected, including three attorneys—Cliff Greene, Jeanette Bazis, and Matt Forsgren—named to the Top 100 Minnesota Super Lawyers List.

Super Lawyers has released its 2018 list of Minnesota Super Lawyers and “Rising Stars, and 15 of Greene Espel's 27 lawyers were selected. Super Lawyers identifies the top five percent of attorneys in each state, as chosen through a multi-phased process that includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

Once again, legal professionals from Greene Espel and Securian Financial Group, Inc. volunteered to teach basic economics and financial literacy to fourth graders at Phalen Lake Elementary School in St. Paul through Junior Achievement (JA).

Litigation and investigations boutique firm Greene Espel is excited to announce that its Minnesota legal community peers selected thirteen of its 24 lawyers for inclusion in the 2017 Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists.
