As a litigator, Anna represents clients in complex business litigation across the country. She has extensive knowledge of the federal court system in Minnesota and uses her clerkship experience at both the magistrate and district court levels to assist clients in all stages of litigation. Anna maintains a strong pro bono practice, representing clients in asylum proceedings and criminal matters. Anna recently helped a couple from an East African nation who had suffered unimaginable atrocities navigate the immigration system and achieve asylum. Anna has also partnered with the Neighborhood Justice Center to represent indigent individuals facing criminal charges, focusing on matters with complex constitutional issues. In one such case, Anna and the team achieved full dismissal of the case when the court ruled that law enforcement conducted an illegal search of the client’s home.
