Overview

Farah Famouri thoughtfully guides businesses and government entities through a wide range of complex disputes.

Farah is a dedicated advocate for clients in both the public and private sectors, guiding them through every stage of litigation. With a strong focus on addressing complex legal challenges, she serves the best interests of both her clients and the broader community. Farah brings valuable expertise in the state court system, having clerked for four judges on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Drawing on this experience, along with her exceptional research and analytical skills, she is adept at defending client interests and advancing their objectives. Farah takes the time to listen attentively to her clients, understanding their priorities, and devising innovative solutions to any challenges that arise.

Farah earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she received the Mary Kelly Quakenbush Memorial Award for the Most Outstanding Student Note for her writing on free speech in the U.S. and U.K. During law school, Farah worked as an extern for the Center for the Integrity in Forensic Sciences, a clinical intern for the Wisconsin State Public Defender, and as a clinical research assistant for the Wisconsin Innocence Project. Prior to law school, Farah served as a New York City Department of Correction Grievance Counselor at Rikers Island.

Farah also serves on the Board of the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis.

Farah's Community Involvement

Farah is an active community member and passionate advocate. Farah is a community owner of the Minnesota Aurora FC women’s soccer team and is a member of the Revontulet supporter group for the team. Farah is also a proud member of the Minnesota Historical Society and serves on the Board of the Jungle Theater.

Farah previously served as a New York City Department of Correction Grievance Counselor at Rikers Island as well as a Victim Advocate at SAGE (Safety Advocacy Growth Empowerment), a domestic and sexual violence center.
