The panel will review applications, interview prospective candidates, and recommend the five best-qualified candidates to the District Judges for consideration.

Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Minnesota Lawyer’s Top Women in Law recognition celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in Minnesota’s legal community.

Best Lawyers compiles its annual recognition by a comprehensive peer review survey which is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.

Each year, Minnesota Lawyer selects a small group of attorneys in their first ten years of practice who distinguish themselves through their professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the community.

The Empowering Women awards shine a light on companies and organizations that have demonstrated tangible efforts and documented results in supporting and elevating women in business across Minnesota.

Only a small percentage of attorneys in each state are named each year to these annual lists—no more than 5 percent to the Super Lawyers list and no more than 2.5 percent to the Rising Stars list.

The Children's Law Center promotes the legal rights and well-being of children and youth, and its staff and volunteers provide direct representation of children and youth in the child welfare system as well as advocate for changes in the systems that affect their lives.

The committee is made up of six attorneys, including current and former judges and other leaders in the legal community.

The team includes Cargill attorneys Kate Hibbard, Brooke Tassoni, and Molly Thornton, as well as Greene Espel attorneys Holley Horrell, Mark Johnson, Aaron Knoll, Jeya Paul, Faris Rashid, Anna Tobin, Gina Tonn, and X. Kevin Zhao.

Chad joins Greene Espel as a Partner to expand our significant capabilities to represent clients in False Claims Act cases, healthcare litigation, government and internal investigations, and high stakes litigation in a variety of industries.

She is recognized in the “Diversity & Inclusion” category as part of the Application Support Committee of the Infinity Project.

The firm has been ranked in the first tier in Minneapolis – the highest ranking available in each city – in nine practice areas.

To create the Power 30 list, Minnesota Lawyer interviewed respected Minnesota attorneys and leaders, reviewed outcomes of significant cases, and consulted the Minnesota Lawyer archives for “people whose achievements and influence we recognize as powerful business litigators in Minnesota.”

This year’s recognition highlights the firm’s “widely respected litigation group able to provide expertise across a range of commercial disputes, including both class actions and single-plaintiff claims.”

The 2018 edition of Chambers USA recognized litigation and investigations boutique Greene Espel in the general commercial litigation practice category. In addition, Chambers individually recognized Jeanette Bazis and Cliff Greene for their litigation work and Beth Krueger for her antitrust work.

Greene Espel attorney Mark Johnson is quoted in this Star Tribune article regarding a verdict in favor of the firm's client. Mark and Anna Tobin led the six-day jury trial in federal court.

On June 9, 2017, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit upheld a 2015 jury verdict, which found Toyota at fault for a 2006 fatal car crash and awarded client Koua Fong Lee and other victims $11.4 million
